Hundred Rolls
Records of royal inquiries into land and rights in 1274–75 and 1279–80.
Edward I ordered the inquiries to find out who held land and rights, and whether any were being abused. They are arranged by "hundreds", the subdivisions of each county, and name thousands of people.
