Richard of Bordeaux

Also written or known as Richard II

Richard II, king of England 1377–1399, born in Bordeaux.

Richard came to the throne aged ten. The poll taxes of 1379 and 1381, and the Peasants' Revolt, fell in his reign. A few SurnameDB histories give this name to Richard I instead.
